Lansing is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Lansing follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The service was excellent. The menu had nice variations to what Indian restaurants we have been to in the past. My wife had goat curry (1 hot level), my son had chicken korma (4 hot level), and I had dal tadka (4 hot level). For breads we had 2 orders of chili garlic naan, 1 plain naan, and 1 order of bhatura. The main dishes were all well seasoned and came out with the appropriate spice / heat level. The flavor on my lentils was incredible and I did not miss eating meat tonight. My wifes goat curry was very flavorful and they easily accommodated her cilantro adversion. My son destroyed his chicken korma and said it was a 10 out of 10, I had to agree with my single taste he let me dad tax. The chili naan was great. The bhatura was soft and pillowy. We also ordered a rose and mango lassi to drink, both were great, but the mango lassi was one of the best I have ever had anywhere. Overall, fantastic evening. Thank you Grains for a great dinner.

I went there for a dinner and observed clean environment, clean bathrooms and great staff. While it comes to food, I would say chef knows exactly what he is doing. Fresh food. No stored food served like percis and other Indian restraints in that area.

The food is absolutely excellent. I think about it all the time in between visits. The service is incredible, waiters are very attentive and kind. The restaurant is beautiful, quiet, and an expensive atmosphere. The food is very well priced for all that you get. Amazing experience!!!!

I've driven by grains Indian cuisine a bunch of times and today was my day to try the food. Everything was delicious and the mango lassi was spectacular. Fun vibe too, and I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu as I'm still learning about Indian cuisine.
